A513 DOM Tubing (Drawn Over Mandrel)
DOM Tube (Drawn over Mandrel) is a process that applied after Weld of tubing for accurate and higher strength in cold form. Dom tube are Smooth inner and outer finish with exact dimension. Dom tube are welded and not seamless. Dom tube is commonly used in Automotive sector grade – 1020 or 1026. 1020 Tube are used in manufacturing small diameter tin wall steel tube and 1026 grade tube are used in manufacturing above 2” OD tubes with heavy wall thickness.
